ONLINE MEDIA PRACTITIONERS IN ABIA TO HENCEFORTH SANCTION ERRING MEMBERS WITH UNVEILING OF CONSTITUTIO

It will no longer be business as usual for online media practitioners in Abia state following the unveiling of its constitution by the chairman, Mr. Ugochukwu Nwankwo.
The chairman also constituted a four member disciplinary committee to be headed by Mr. Sunny Nwankwo.
The chairman of the association, Mr. Nwankwo while unveiling the constitution noted that there was need to be on the “right footing”.
He said the body ought to have rules guiding it which members are compelled to abide by.
On the disciplinary committee, the chairman made it clear that its duties would include investigating cases involving members reported to the association, and “unprofessional” conducts of some members with a view to sanitizing the online media practice in the state.
Other members of the committee include; Chinwe Ugele as secretary, Emenike Iroegbu and Prince Clinton Uba as members.
