For the only Dapchi school girl who has remained in the captivity of Boko Haram since February 19,2018 all hope is not lost.

Leah was abducted alongside her school mates, 109 of them on the same day, but was held back after the rest were granted freedom by the terrorists.

108 girls spent 30 days in captivity but Leah has spent 449 days, 419 days more than her mates.

Federal government had made several promises of efforts to secure her release, but many Nigerians only see such as paying lip service.

Leah was said to have refused denouncing Christianity her faith at age 15, when they were abducted, which was why her captors have refused to set her free.

For how long will Leah be in captivity?

How long will it take the Federal Government to secure the release of just one girl?

For how long will her family wait in vain?

Today at 16, even though not free, she is been celebrated by citizens from Islam and Christianity.

Some have taken to their twitter handles to celebrate the unusual heroine.

Happy 16th birthday Leah!!!
