Nigeria Decides: 6 states to go through bye elections to decide the fates of the governorship candidates within 21 days.

So far, a total of 6 states in Nigeria will be having supplementary elections to get decisive results on who become winners of the governorship election in the affected states.
This is because the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared elections in these states inconclusive.
In all the States affected, reason for the declaration was the margin of lead which the various returning officers for the states, pointed out was way lower than the number of votes cancelled as a result of violence or card reader malfunction.

It is not yet clear if more states will not be added to this number as declaration of results from Imo and Taraba are still being expected from INEC.
Also some states were put on suspension by INEC in the collation and declaration of results due to violence and disruption of the process by thugs.
