INEC declares Ikpeazu winner of the Abia 2019 governorship elections.

The candidate of the People’s Democratic party in Abia state governorship polls, and incumbent governor of the state, Okezie Ikpeazu has been returned elected having polled a total of 261,127 to beat his APC counterpart, Uche Ogah who scored 99,574

The candidate of APGA, Alex Otti came third in the results announced by INEC with a total vote of 64366

Ikpeazu won in 11 LGA’s, while Ogah won in 4 and Otti in 2 LGA’s.

Total votes cast were 444,376

Valid votes 433315

Void votes 11061

Professor Benjamin Ozurumba the returning officer for Abia state governorship polls, 2019 made the declaration in the presence of security chiefs, REC, party agents, observers and journalists.
