COURT SACKS PDP’S GUBER CANDIDATE IN KANO STATE.
Unless fresh gubernatorial primary election is conducted by the People’s Democratic party in Kano state between today the 4th of March and Saturday the 9th of March, Kwankwaso’s anointed son will not be able to fly the flag of the party in Saturday’s governorship elections.
A Federal High Court sitting in Kano on Monday nullified the candidature of Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Saturday’s governorship election in the state over controversy surrounding alleged primaries of the party.
Kabir is the anointed governorship candidate of Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso and his in law as well.
Justice Lowis Allagoa ordered that the party should conduct fresh primary election between today and Saturday, March 9.
Kabir is the main contender of the incumbent governor of the state, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
