KATSINA LEADS IN STATES WITH HIGHEST COLLECTION RATE OF PVC’s
Here is an official document released by INEC on its website on how states stand in the collection of permanent voters cards as Katsina the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari leads with a collection rate of 98.69%.
Katsina is followed by Taraba state with 97.30% collection and Gombe and Kebbi states recording 95.76% and 95.13% respectively.
Other states with higher collection percentage include Zamfara with 94.74%, followed by Kaduna with 92.79%, while Yobe has 92.39% and Enugu 91.95%.
States with the lowest percentage of collection are Ogun, Oyo and Osun States with 71.36%, 74.17% and 75.37% respectively.
However, Lagos state with an 84.19% collection of PVC’s has the highest number of registered voters with PVC in the country, standing at 5,531,389. Following Lagos is Kano state with registered voters with PVC put at 4,696,747.
The state with the least number of registered voters with PVC in the country is Ekiti state which is put at a total of 666,591 while Bayelsa’s figure is put at 769,509.
