2019 ELECTIONS: ATIKU URGES ELECTORATE TO DECIDE THEIR FUTURE.
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has enjoined the Nigerian electorate to ensure they exercise their franchise come 23rd of February, 2019 to choose who leads the nation in the next four years.
In a broadcast on Thursday, Abubakar reiterated the need for the citizens to allow their voices be heard through their votes.
He recalled that in 2015, Nigerians spoke at the polls with their votes, which according to him made him proud as a citizen of Nigeria.
He said,”This election is about your future and the future of your children”.
He added that on the election day everyone is equal as no single vote is a more important than the other, saying that the power to get Nigeria working again lies in the permanent voters card.
He stated that the refusal for anyone to vote is an indication that they want “the next four years to be as bad as the last four years”.
The PDP presidential candidate who declared that he would be voting as well, finally encouraged voters to participate in the elections irrespective of their choice of candidate.
