It’s been four days since the abduction of Hon. Donatus Nwankpa, the Abia state chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), with no knowledge of his whereabouts.

Hon. Nwankpa was kidnapped alongside one of his aides, popularly known as Chigbu on the 28th of January, 2019 at Arungwa junction in Isiala Ngwa South LGA while on his way to Enyimba stadium in Aba for the state’s presidential rally on that day.

His vehicle was double crossed and the occupants, Nwankpa and Chigbu taken away forcefully to an unknown destination.
Chigbu has since regained freedom even though not without bruises and pains on the condition that he was still carrying a recovering surgery from hernia. But the chairman who appears to be the target of the kidnappers remains in their custody leaving party leaders and faithful to submit to the will of God in the case.
