APC CRISIS: GIADOM FAVOURED BY LAW AS ACTING NATIONAL CHAIRMAN – BUHARI
President Mohammadu Buhari has declared that he will recognise and work with Victor Giadom as the Acting National chairman of the APC following the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole.
Oshiomhole was suspended last week on a court order which hinged on his suspension from the party by his ward in Etsako LGA of Edo state.
A statement by the senior special Assistant to Mr president, GARBA Shehu, says president Buhari is now convinced by the law to support Giadom.
The ruling All Progressives Congress had announced ailing Ajimobi as the successor to Oshiomhole.
On the other hand, Giadom had successfully obtained a court order which recognised him as the rightful acting chairman of the party.
Oshiomhole had even advised Giadom to fear God after he (the later) announced his promotion.
However in a twist of fate for Oshiomhole, president Buhari has now accepted to work with Giadom in obedience to the pronouncements of the court.
He will also be attending a NEC virtual meeting convened by Giadom tomorrow Thursday with the APC governors and national assembly leaders from the party.

APC CRISIS: PRESIDENT BUHARI ENDORSES VICTOR GIADOM AS ACTING NATIONAL CHAIRMAN
President MUHAMMADU BUHARI appears to have endorsed VICTOR GIADOM as the authentic Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
This is because President BUHARI will be attending the reconvened meeting of the APC National Executive Committee, which was suspended since March this year.
The position of President BUHARI was confirmed in a series of messages on Twitter by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, GARBA SHEHU.
He said the President has received very convincing advice on the position of the law as far as the situation in the APC is concerned.
The spokesman noted that President BUHARI has determined that the law is on the side of VICTOR GIADOM as Acting National Chairman.
GARBA SHEHU urged the media to stop promoting what he called “manufactured controversies” and to avoid mischievous interpretations of the law on the matter.
In addition to the President, SHEHU said the GIADOM-led NEC meeting would, hopefully, be attended by APC Governors and the party leaders in the National Assembly.
The position of the President was made known comes after VICTOR GIADOM announced that the APC NEC meeting tomorrow would hold through online video conferencing platform.
