Flo FM Sports Presenter, David Oku of Davidtalks is billed to receive “First Young Journalists Award for Youth in Africa in Cairo, Egypt.

 

 

The First Young Journalists Award for Youth in Africa is considered as the first award from Egypt for young journalists and media professionals in Africa and comes up on November 10 in Cairo.

 

 

David Oku (Davidtalks) is one of the three selected for the award largely due to his robust coverage of the last African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

 

 

David Essien Oku is a Nigerian Sports Broadcaster who started honing his broadcasting skills from the Cross River Broadcasting Corporation (CRBC) Calabar, before joining Flo-fm Umuahia in 2017.

He recently covered the Africa Cup of Nations 2019 in Egypt and will also be present at the Africa un23 Cup of Nations starting from 8 November in Cairo.
