ABIA GUBER: EMENIKE DIMISSES ALLEGED SUPPORT FOR IKPEAZU BY HIS SUPPORTERS.
Urges supporters to vote for all APC candidates come March 9.
Chinwe Ugele, Umuahis.
The Dr. Emmanuel Ndukwe led executive of the All Progressives Congress in Abia state has dismissed a purported alliance of some of their local government executive with the incumbent governor and PDP’s governorship candidate, Okezie Ikpeazu in the Saturday’s elections.
A press statement signed by the publicity secretary of this faction, Chief Mike Ozoemena described those involved in the act as “some disgruntled renegades masquerading as local government party Chairmen of APC in Abia state led by one Samuel Ndubueze (Isiuba) of Isiala Ngwa North, who was expelled from the party for anti party activities”
He alleged that the group has been going about extorting money from the “failed and sinking government of PDP in Abia state led by Dr Okezie Ikpeazu.
He thereafter said the alleged collapse of structure is false and enjoined the public to disregard such claims.
“There is absolutely no truth in this and the general public are advised to ignore such mindless and reprehensible, and fallacious press release”.
He urges their supporters to go all out and vote for all the APC candidates on Saturday 09/03/2019, adding that High Chief Ikechi Emenike, is a very loyal and disciplined party man.
