KYLIE JENNER BECOMES THE YOUNGEST BILLIONAIRE- FORBES
After months of speculations, Forbes has named the 21 years old Kylie Jenner the youngest billionaire with a net worth of $1billion.
This was made known at Forbes annual billionaires unveiling.
This means that Kylie has taken that title away from Mark Zuckerberg who became world’s youngest billionaire at 23.
Her wealth came mostly from her range of beauty products which have become successful overtime, as well as regular inflow of cash from the family’s TV reality show.
Kylie is the youngest of very successful and industrious siblings who are also into fashion and beauty.
Her cosmetics company estimated to worth $900millon was started in 2015 with her social media fan base constituting her major customers.
She also owns an impressive portfolio of real estate.
This was how she reacted to the development;
‘I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future. But the recognition feels really good, that’s a nice pat on the back,’ Jenner told Forbes.
She credits her success to her enormous social media following, which ensured her customer base before she made her first product.
‘It’s the power of social media. I had such a strong reach before I was able to start anything,’ she said, adding that she sees the company going ‘very far’.
I see Kylie Cosmetics going very far. I work really hard,’ she said.
‘It’s always something that we’re willing to explore,’ she said.
