UCHE NWOSU DEFIES PARTY’S ORDER, CAMPAIGNS FOR BUHARI.

In spite of being the governorship candidate of the Action Alliance(AA), in Imo state, Chief Uche Nwosu, has vowed to continue supporting President Muhammadu Buhari in his re-election bid in February, 2019.

Respondingto the warning of the leadership of the party under the chairmanship of Mr. Kenneth Udeze, Nwosu said he will ensure all members of the party in Imo state vote for Mr. President.

The National chairman of Action Alliance had issued a warning to their members against campaigning for Buhari since the party recently endorsed Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as its presidential candidate.

This position of the party did not go down well with Nwosu who only joined the party to actualise his political ambition as he said, “We have made up our mind in Imo State chapter of the party to support President Buhari and nothing can change that. No amount of threat or blackmail can change our decision. The AA can decide what they want in other states, but in Imo we have made up our minds and nothing can change that.

“The support for President Buhari is far and above party or religious inclinations and it is a task I and other members of the Action Alliance are committed to and we must deliver.”

As for Udeze, “We are for Atiku/Obi leadership and we are glad to work with all believers of true federalism and efficient administration of governance at all levels to accomplish this as we approach the forthcoming elections.”

The political confusion in the Imo first family continues as Okorcha an APC member campaigns for his son in law in AA and the later declares support for Buhari against the wish of his party, AA.
