Peter Obi visits Osisioma pipeline explosion site: commiserates with victims

The vice presidential candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, the PDP, Mr. Peter Obi on Wednesday stormed Abia state over a recent petroleum pipeline explosion in Osisioma Local Government Area where hundreds of lives were allegedly lost.
The former Anambra state governor, Mr. Obi who on arrival in Abia state, called on the Governor, said he was directed by the presidential candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party for the 2019 general elections in the country Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to pay a visit to the affected community with a view to commiserating with the victims.
According to Mr.Obi, such incidence of petroleum pipeline explosion in the country is part of the reason they want to be in government in order to provide solutions to them.
He commiserated with the government and people of Abia state, and appreciated governor Okezie Ikpeazu for reaching out to the victims of the unfortunate fire outbreak from the explosion.
An unspecified number of persons were said to have died in that explosion that had kids, men, women and mostly youths affected.
